Marshfield & Yate
1st January 2021
We went for a drive around Marshfield, but was very quiet for birdlife. Along Shire Hill, we saw a large number of Fieldfares & a few Redwings feeding in the fields. Further along the road were 3 Roe Deer in the far field.
In the evening, the Wood Mice were feeding on the bird feeders.

The Male Blackcap was feeding in our garden on a very chilly & snowy day. The other birds were also feeding on the feeders as well. The Redwings made a appearance near the edge of the garden, but there was not many berries left. A Female Pied Wagtail also visited the garden.

While I was working at Organic Blooms in Latteridge I photographed a Male Blackbird & a few Redwings feeding on the last remaining Ivy Berries by the entrance. As there was still snow about, it was visible to see the footprints of some of the Animals that have been on the site. These were Rabbits, Brown Rats [not everybody's favourite] & Muntjac.
