Latteridge [Organic Blooms] 13th October 2020
I decided to take my small camera to work instead of trying to take photos with my IPhone and while on my break at Organic Blooms, I managed to see & photograph a Devil's Coach Beetle. Also I was very pleased to see & photograph a Common Buzzard perched in the tree near our site. While I was clearing one of the beds, I came across the Larvae of a Lesser Stag Beetle. A couple of Ravens were perched on top of the pylons. They were also seen perched on the pylons early afternoon on 20th October. A few House Sparrows were fitting through the hedgerow.

On the following day, while clearing the beds in the new polytunnel, we came across some larvae of a Sawfly species & Small White Caterpillars. At lunch time in the same polytunnel, I managed to see a Silver Y Moth.

Pennington Marshes HWT 15th October 2020
We headed down to Pennington Marshes HWT near Keyhaven to see the 1st Winter Wilson's Phalarope. On our walk up to the Fishtail Lagoon, Dad saw a Dartford Warbler briefly. When we got there, the bird was swimming & feeding in a small channel. It then flew further down the marshes & started to feed along the ditch by the path. It swam underneath the fence twice, before going up onto the bank to have a preen to it's feathers. After a while it was back in feeding in the small channel to continue feeding. This species is a fairly regular vagrant from North America. It walked along the bank occasionally to show it's yellow legs & feet. Also seen there were our first Dark-
